Chicago Caper |

It
is September 1928 in Chicago, Illinois. Six months have passed since
the notorious Chicago gangster, Harold "Hal" Coppone,
was jailed in Philadelphia for the relatively minor offence of carrying
an unlicensed gun. His release is expected to trigger a wave of
violence around Chicago.
Instead, Coppone has disappeared, mystifying the police and criminal
underworld alike. To the small group gathered in a speakeasy near
Coppone's headquarters, the crime lord's whereabouts become only
part of the mystery when murder and a robbery are discovered.

Based
on the ABC soapie (now on a local TV channel) of the same name,
guests play the roles of the main TV series characters. Eight of
Pine Valley's most colorful characters await the arrival of their
host,. Dr. Phillip N. Thrope at a dinner being held at the elegant
Chateau Restaurant. Plans to build a new wing at Pine Valley Hospital
are also on the agenda.
High spirits soon turn into astonishment when Detective Trevor Dillon
announces a murder. Experience being part of a soapie with it's
share of deceit, betrayals, blackmail, double-cross and murder!

|
It
is 1959 in a small town in the USA during the height of the rock'n
roll era. The class of 1954 has scheduled its 5th year reunion to
coincide with the return to town of Rockford "Rock" N.
Roley, the famous rock "n" roll star. A group of Rock's
high school friends have planned to meet with the star after the
show to talk over old times.
Excitement is high at their old meeting place "The Maltese
Falcon", however, the memory of a high school prank leads to
the discovery of murder

Affair to Dismember |

Neville
Aster-Night, the ghoulish owner of Castle Von Morgue, has invited
8 of his closest friends to his engagement party.
His pending eerie nuptual contract to the mistress of Motel California
will
be celebrated over the Halloween weekend at his castle in Deadbolt,
Transylvania.
The guest list at the engagement party is expected to be a veritable
“who’s
who” in the crypt like underworld. Neville has promised fun,
food &
goose bumps and has even ordered a dark and stormy night.
Miss Ing Brayn, the gossip columnist at the “Adams Family
Gazette” was quoted as saying, “ The affair will be a
night to die for”.
How did she know that it would be a night to die?
Who
amongst these ghoulish guests is going to be guilty of murder!

Dukes Descent |
|
It
is September 1931 at an English castle. The 12th Duke of Airesborne
and his son have been killed in a tragic ballooning accident. His
unmarried brother, now the 13th Duke of Airesborne,. has invited
his eight possible heirs to his estate to announce which of them
will be the successor to his title.
Before he can do that, however, the potential heirs find themselves
in the very tricky situation, of having to unravel more than one
murder.

It
is 1969 and the media empire that Percival Fontleroy has built up
since the Second World War, is under threat. There have been secretive
hostile bids for the shares and to make matters worse "Fonty"
has been receiving death threats, warning him to sell up, or face
the consequences ! He has realized that he cannot fight this on
his own, so he has called a meeting of those family and colleagues
who are most intimately connected to Fontleroy Enterprises. The
meeting , over dinner will be held at Scoop Chambers. Guests are
warned to expect the unexpected as all is not what it seems !

Grapes of Frath |
|
It
is June 1925, aboard a luxury yacht in the Mediterranean Sea. Archibald
Bemmington Frath, the internationally famous distributor of champagne
and fine wines, and the owner of the multinational corporate enterprise
"Grapes of Frath", has invited several close "friends"
for a cruise aboard his luxury yacht, "The Gilded Vessel".
In a secluded bay of a tropical Mediterranean island, murder is
discovered, and it is left to the surviving guests to unravel the
crime.

Good the Bad and the Guilty |
|
Deep
in the town of Roadkill, the scene is set for a public hanging.
The notorious gang, "The Malevolent Seven", have it appears,
at last been captured. The hanging is being presided over by Judge
Waylon Payne. An event of this importance to the safety and welfare
of the town will not be right without some form of celebration.
Roadkill's most important citizens, as well as those involved in
the tracking of the vicious gang have been invited to the Judge's
home to toast the hanging.
The excitement takes a new angle when without warning the Sheriff
announces a murder and the eight characters at the Judge's home
suddenly find themselves as suspects.

Hollywood Premier of Powar and Greed |
|
It
is 1936 at the famous Powar Gardens Theater in Hollywood. The celebraties
are gathered for the gala premier of the film "Powar and Greed".
A small private party for the cast, to be hosted by the famous director
"W. Anton Powar", himself, has been arranged in an adjoining
banquet room.
Hollywood's elite mill about in anticipation of the viewing of another
film gem from this talented producer. But, before the film can be
screened, excitement turns into horror as a murder is uncovered.

Last Train from Paris |
|
It
is June 1940 aboard a train leaving Paris. The German troops are
about to enter the city. The roads south are a hopeless snarl, the
trains are full and one cannot find space aboard them. Yet to stay
in the city and see her destroyed by the Nazis will not be a pleasant
experience. An anonymous letter arrives offering you passage aboard
a Government train heading for the relative safety of southern France.
The relief of the escape is short lived as no sooner has the train
left Paris station, when a murder is discovered onboard.

It
is June 1895. Arthur "Art" E. Faxe, the eccentric English
archeologist, has invited eight prominent colleagues to participate
in an archeological "dig" at the mysterious "Fort
Ap Aachih" site in Mesopotamia. Almost immediately, rumors
circulate of an important archeological "find", but excitement
gives way to dismay when murder is committed and the remaining guests
must solve the mystery of murder.

It
is the Ides of April in the year 68 AD (during the reign of the
great leader "Licentius Caesar") at the ancient villa
of the renowned poet Flabbius Corpus. Eight of the more esteemed
citizens of Rome have been invited to the completion of his latest
poetic work, "Rome Wasn't Bilked in a Day". As important
citizens of Rome (who have been invited) all are mentioned in the
masterpiece and now wait in anticipation of the premiere recitation
of his historical work.
However, it is already in the Ninth hour when, without warning,
robbery and murder are announced.

William Sheepsheare and his beloved Lady Katheter deVane, are hosting
a twelfth night dinner at the Glib Theatre. So pray, do join us
at our genuine behest and take the blade of revelry to breast; for
Her Royal Highness, Queen Illicibeth and the voluptuous, Lady MacDeth
shall be but two of the esteemed brethren gracing our presence.
Expect much ribaldry for some fine fellows of wit and breeding will
prevail. But hark, what foul deeds are afoot, dost a wicked soul
cast murder in our midst!
To be Guilty or not to be Guilty, that is the question each of the
guests must determine!

music festival ever seen. You are fortunate to be with the hippest
pop singer of all time; the top of the pops cult singer, "Hedda
Leiss". Whilst chilling out at a stop over at her "love
pad", an explosion rocks the pad. The psychedelic peace bus
you were on has been turned into dust with some one still on board.
Could this blast be murder? Like wow what a trip, as the eight suspects
try and prove they are not homicidal maniacs.

It
is Tuesday, 20th October 1987, the day after the stock market crash
known as "Black Monday" Mega rich financier, Jon K Bonds
has called an emergency meeting of his investor group, to plot their
strategy in the aftermath of the crash. The worried group convenes
in Jon K's luxurious penthouse overlooking Wall Street.
When murder is discovered, they face more than a mere financial
crisis.

is January 1936, at an English country mansion. Sir Roger Watersdown,
the wealthy owner of Watersdown Beverages Ltd., has invited several
"friends" and close "business associates" to
a weekend gathering at his Yorkshire mansion. However, the mansion
is soon in turmoil when a murder is discovered and the guests must
now try and prove their innocence.

It
is 8th century China at the Festival of the Autumn Moon Guests of
the Hoo family have been invited to gather at the Grand Hall at
Hoo house on Woo Hung Woo islands. Hoo house is an elegant Chinese
mansion, and the summer home of the Hoo family.
The guests are gathered for an evening of reflection, poetry and
feasting before drinking from the "Ceremonial Cup of Wisdom".
But celebration soon gives way to shock when more then one murder
is discovered and the guests are suspects. Ahhhhh Sooooooooo !!!
