Conact Murder Dinners

Our murder dinners are presented in either of 2 options viz. Pre-scripted (utilizing the internationally renowned "How To Host A Murder ™ series); or, scripted with "actors".

OPTION 1:
We hold the South African rights for these internationally successful dinner games. They were in fact the very first murder dinner game to have been produced way back in 1984. There are at present 17 murder and 1 mystery plot to choose from (ranging from Western to Chinese to Hollywood to Hippie to Chicago gangster etc.).
Once your plot is chosen you will receive a special theme setting invitation for each of your guests. This is handed out about a week before your murder and via this invite you allocate each guest his or her character. On the night your suspects (guests) will peel away layers of tongue in cheek clues, motives and alibis. Each suspect then tries to dig up the dirty, slimy, grimy facts on the others at the table, whilst attempting to keep their own motives secret!
Only during the game will the real culprit(s) find out who they are, and then the fun takes on a new twist of outrageous alibis and accusations. Participants do not need acting experience as scripts are provided, that guide each character through their role in the murder. The game is usually played during the meal i.e. eat & play and depending how involved the players get; can take up to between 3 & 4 hilarious hours to catch the guilty party(ies).
The minimum number of players required is 6 or 8 and any increase must be in groups of 6 or 8

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In this option we write a plot to suit the planned event. This option is usually played with the guests not knowing they are attending a murder dinner. The fun is that they are "set-up" and at the stage when the room is ripe (i.e. suitably confused and awkward), we then announce that they are in the midst of a murder mystery.
Each table is then set up as an investigating team e.g. the Scotland Yard team and the next table could be the FBI or Interpol etc. It is then up to each team to in a fun way compete against the other tables and question the suspects in amongst the guests. The suspects are "actors" who have been hidden amongst the guests posing as guests.
The minimum number of guests needed for this version is 40 with a maximum of 90 people. The action takes place in the dining area and generally does not entail the guests moving around the venue. The "murder" scenes are always done tongue in cheek, as we feel that this must not detract from the fun element of the event. The game closes with each team presenting their verdict and those with the closest correct scenario are declared the winning team.
